Keerthy Suresh To Make Bollywood Debut In Action-Packed 'VD18'

Popular for her performances in South Indian cinema, National Award-winning actor Keerthy Suresh is now going to mark her Bollywood debut. 

Keerthy Suresh is reportedly going to feature opposite Varun Dhawan in a Hindi feature film, which will be directed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees and presented by Atlee. Atlee is currently making headlines for his upcoming Bollywood directorial Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. 

Keerthy Suresh Bollywood Debut 

It's reported that Suresh will kickstart her Bollywood debut with an action entertainer, which is temporarily titled #VD18. The film, which will be produced by Priya Atlee and Kalees, will go on floors next month as the cast and crew are all geared up for the first shooting schedule in Mumbai. The film's makers have planned for a three-month shooting schedule, aiming for a November shoot finish. The makers are reportedly targeting a May 2024 release in the theatres. 

Suresh, who has given several successful films like Sarkar, Mahanati, Nenu Sailaja, Miss India, Rang De, Vaahi, and Dasara among others, will be seen in an action-packed avatar, something her fans have waited to see for a long time.  Reports also suggest that more actors are set to join the cast. Kalees is popular for his film Kee which was released in 2019. 

While Dhawan is all set for his Bawaal release on OTT this Friday, he also recently wrapped the shoot for the global spy thriller series, Citadel. On the other hand, Suresh has some interesting films lined up including Revolver Rita, Chiranjeevi starrer Bhola Shankar and Kannivedi, to name a few.
